Trunk-or-Treat 2025

Thursday, October 30, 2025, 5:00-6:30pm on the WBMS basketball courts

The WBMS annual Trunk-or-Treat is a beloved community event that offers a safe, walkable, accessible, and family-friendly environment for our Warriors to celebrate Halloween. All current Warriors, prospective students, WBMS alumni, and their families, as well as our Bayview neighbors and community supporters are welcome to attend.

The WBMS Trunk-or-Treat has arrived! And—great news!—we’ve already reached the night’s $5,000 fundraising goal, which is an important baby step to our annual $60,000 Warrior Fund goal. In fact, because of our generous donors, we’ve raised just over $10,000!!! Do you think we can make it to $15,000 by this Friday?! Whether you’re able to attend or not, please donate online NOW and get limited edition WBMS swag and a chance to win prizes (at Trunk-or-Treat)!

If you donate…

  • $5  =  1 entry into a prize drawing (at T-or-T only)
  • $20 = 5 entries into a prize drawing (at T-or-T only)
  • $125 or more = your choice of a WBMS fleece blanket or duffle bag* (through Oct. 31)
  • OR
  • Become a monthly sustaining donor with a pledge to give $12 or more each month for the next 10 months ($120 total) and get your choice of a WBMS fleece blanket or duffle bag* (through Oct. 31)

*While supplies last. Blankets and duffle bags will be given to the donors in the order in which their donation was received. These options do not include entries into the prize drawing.

Prizes in the drawing include…

  • 90-minute Deep Tissue or Lymphatic Massage from BacktotheFuture Massage ($200 value)
  • $100 gift certificate to The Vault Steakhouse or any other restaurant part of the upscale Hi Neighbor Hospitality Group
  • WBMS hoodie sweatshirt (up to a $50 value)
  • Halloween-themed Treat Basket ($50 value)

And you don’t need to be present at the Trunk-or-Treat to be entered into the drawing or to win a prize, which is why we’re encouraging you to donate today!

  • Step 1Fill out this form with your donor information.
  • Step 2. Make your online donation via Zelle (preferred), PayPal, or Venmo. At Trunk-or-Treat, we’ll be able to accept cash or checks made payable to “WBMS PTSO”.
  • Step 3. Attend the Trunk-or-Treat to pick up your gift. Or, if you’re unable to attend, we’ll coordinate the handoff of your gift in some other way.
  • Step 4. Keep an ear out to hear if you won a prize. Winners will be announced at Trunk-or-Treat or, if not present, will be notified no later than EOD Friday, October 31.

Is making a donation not feasible for your family right now? We totally get it. You can still totally help! Spread the word about the Warrior Fund—and your student can proudly don a glowing neon necklace at Trunk-or-Treat!

Here’s how it works (it’s super easy):

  1. Forward our Warrior Fund email or text to 10 other adults—friends, coworkers, family, neighbors—anyone who loves supporting students!
  2. Email wbmsptso@gmail.com and let us know you did. (Honor system—no need for proof!) We’ve even provided the email and text wording for you below. Copy, paste, and send, baby!
  3. Your Warrior will get one neon necklace for every 10 people you share with! Have ’em swing by the PTSO dance floor (trunk) to pick up their necklace(s).

The best part? The people you forward to don’t have to donate for your student to glow. Just helping us spread the word makes a huge difference!

In addition to the FUNdraising portion of the night, our recently elected Student Government representatives will be selling concessions and candy grams and the DJ Club students will be spinning tunes in front of a live audience for their first time!

This event is made possible by the WBMS Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO), the WBMS Student Government, Beacon Afterschool Program, and many generous volunteers. All donations made to the WBMS PTSO are tax deductible. EIN# 92-0530082

Subject: Support our school’s Warriors!

Body: Hi friends and family,

I’m reaching out because our middle school is raising funds through the annual Warrior Fund, which supports a ton of things that makes our kids’ middle school years so special—field trips, enrichment, classroom projects, school dances, cultural celebrations, and community-wide event.

We’re aiming to raise $60,000 this year, and every dollar helps! Even small gifts make a big impact.

Would you consider giving to help our Warriors thrive?

Give HERE, via Venmo, PayPal, or Zelle

We’re also hosting a fun community Trunk-or-Treat this Thursday, and every family spreading the word helps our school shine a little brighter (literally—our kids are earning glow necklaces for helping share this email!).

Thank you for helping our Warriors really shine!

Warmly,
