Join the PTSO

Your input makes our community more vibrant, and our kids benefit. Join the PTSO in whatever capacity you’re able.

Join our list serve to get our emails that include meeting minutes, event invitations, important reminders, and messages from our community members.

Go to Groups.io and create an account. Locate us by typing “WBMS” or “WBMS@groups.io” in the search field. Click on our link, followed by the button “+Join This Group”. Alternatively, complete the form at the bottom of this page, and one of our PTSO volunteers will add your email address to our list. In the case of the latter, you’ll receive a link to join the group in your inbox.

In addition, please attend the PTSO meetings. Our monthly meetings are held on the third Tuesdays, from 6:00-7:00pm, on campus in the Maker Space and streamed via Zoom, and is usually complemented by food and drink to share for those who are able to attend in person. All WBMS community members are welcome to attend at a rate that best fits your interest and capacity.

Serve on a PTSO Committee or in a Leadership Role

Want to be super in-the-know about a specific program or event? Or do you have a special skill that can help our fledgling PTSO community thrive? Volunteer to join a PTSO committee! Get creative by event planning a school dance; share your culture and organize a performance on campus; put your gift of gab to great use and fundraise; or help us create foundational systems and access that will serve generations of students, like grant processes, recruitment marketing materials, and information in multiple languages.

Want to get really engaged? Our Leadership Team serves two-year terms and consists of a President, Vice President, Treasurer, and Secretary.

Join our Facebook Group

Whether you choose to be involved in the PTSO or not, please join our private Facebook Group. Here we can share with each other photos of our students’ accomplishments, reach out to fellow WBMS parents for advice and support, and have a simple way to engage and connect with one another.

Log in to your Facebook account as usual. Follow this link or search for @WBMSPTSOFB. Click the “Join” button and answer the screening questions. While the group is visible (read: searchable), who is in it and what is posted is NOT visible to those outside the group. Note: You must be approved by an admin (our PTSO Communications Chair) and follow the group rules to keep our students safe.
